If you have hunted in Alaska, or dream of doing so, you will definitely enjoy Annabel's books. He spent the summer and fall months in Alaska with his family, guiding fishermen and hunters. In the winter and early spring he went to Mexico where he guided fishermen (and where he also had a secret second family!). He embelished many of his stories and some are pure fiction, but entertaining nonetheless. Hemingway called Annabel "the best outdoor writer I every read".
